We are happy to announce the budget-friendly, always-in-style, lightweight, boho, preppy, surfer-esque, trendy, chic dress that we are sure will rule your summer wardrobe: The LWD. Even more versatile than its ebony counterpart, the Little White Dress is a must-have. Buy one (or two, or three) and you'll wear it (or them, in our case) until sunset on Labor Day. Easy to dress up or down, the LWD can be worn almost anywhere during the summer season. Regardless of your style, the LWD will be the best warm-weather purchase you make. Here are a few places we wear our Little White Dress(es)
1. Casual dinner with friends: Going for a boho-casual vibe, I pair my lace Lulu's LWD with a chunky necklace, leather jacket and gladiator sandals. Meanwhile, Langdon decides to go preppy, donning an ivory Lilly Pulitzer shift, which she pairs with a simple silver cuff, cork Jack Rogers sandals, and silver hoop earrings.
2. Same dresses, bonfire on the beach: I give my Lulu's dress a beachy update by accessorizing with simple dangly earrings, and a metallic leather cuff (I adore Satchel of Savannah's beautiful leather accessories).  Langdon and I both suggest loose hair and bare feet... it is the beach after all!) Lang gives her classic Lilly a surfer-esque update, adding vintage neon bangles to add a pop of color. Her coral drop earrings add to the oceanic vibe.
3. 4th of July Barbecue: Here in the South,  family barbecue is undisputedly a tradition on Independence Day. For our lakeside 'cue, (we go to the mountains of North Carolina) I plan on wearing a Red Dress Boutique (check out their website... adorable) "Livin' on the Edge" LWD with a semi-open back, which I will pair with my favorite Steve Madden woven wedges, a bold red necklace, and navy nails. Back at the beach, Langdon is looking forward to wearing a boho  crochet body con-shift from Nordstrom with red BCBGeneration wedges and nautical navy bracelets. Hurray for the USA!
4. And now, other places to wear the LWD:
Church*, casual parties, semi-formal parties*, dinner dates, school, walking around town, shopping, over a bathing suit*, with friends, the country club, the city, graduation party/graduation*, your cousins bat mitzvah, traveling, hula-hooping, window-shopping, water-skiing (or not)....  pretty much anywhere except a wedding! or a funeral, come to think of it!
Now, go purchase a little white dress (or three),  and tell us if we're wrong about it.
* Depending on the dress...

We deeply apologize for the hiatus, but we had to study for finals...
But now, we are happy to announce that summer is FINALLY here! Just in case you haven't heard. The pre-fall and spring runways were ablaze with mismatched prints, lucite everything, holographic clothes (and accessories!), crop tops, and pastels. Many designers continued to use sporty cuts and vibrant colors, while others incorporated bold stripes into their ensembles. We especially love the branded sweatshirt trend!

How to Wear:
One Branded Sweatshirt Three Marvelous Ways

Sweatshirt + Bold Skirt: Dress it up with killer shoes.
Sweatshirt + Denim Shorts: Perfect for a day out. We love her necklace
Sweatshirt + Boyfriend Jeans: Ultra causal-chic.
BONUS! Sweatshirt + Leather Trend = A Match MADE for this season!

In the fashion world, we are bringing you a belated look inspired by a small festival we call Coachella. Get ready for weekend two! Also we thought we'd share this tweet from Leandra Medine with you.

@ManRepeller: Overheard at airport: I wouldn't go back to Coachella if my f***ing dad was playing next weekend.

Behold, our new favorite swim brand, DVF Loves Roxy! Diane Von Furstenberg teams up with  surfer brand, Roxy, to create chic and sporty swimsuits. The flattering cuts come in fresh and vibrant prints, giving off the perfect surfer vibe.  We especially love the knotted bandeau bikini top in Hopscotch Multi.  And did we mention they come at great prices? Yep, we're pretty much head over heals.
Are you as summer hungry as we are yet?

On the Runway, Clockwise from above: Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander Wang.
This Spring, black and white was all over the runways. Mod cuts and cut-outs ruled the catwalk. On the street, it's been paired with retro statement sunglasses.  For a less severe look, we recommend a colorblocked dress with some cute heels.
xoxo
